TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING DECEMBER 10, 2013
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with Hull, Uecke, Lauterborn and Kauzlaric present, as well as 17 in attendance. The agenda was posted on December 9, 2013. Motion to approve the agenda by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried. The Pledge of Allegiance is said.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Kauzlaric with bank statements available for review. Motion to approve Treasurer’s report by Lauterborn. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Town Board meeting held November 12, 2013 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Hull. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Public Hearing held November 12, 2013 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Lauterborn. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Budget Amendments – none at this time.
Disbursements were available for all to review; checks #21260 to and including #21305 for disbursement of $56,463.26, which includes auto withdrawal of payroll taxes. Motion to approve by Uecke. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Ambulance Report – next meeting in January
Fire Department Report – report given by Chief Harkema with 1 call for November (Mutual aid for Town of Riverview structure fire). No motions are entertained.
Humane Officer Report is given by Humane Officer Bubb with 6 calls for the month or November. No motions are entertained.
Cemetery Report – Sup. Uecke stated that it was determined that spring damage to cemetery was not from Town plow trucks. No motions are entertained.
Planning Commission Report –
– Replacement request from PC Member Litscher – Chairman Hull discussed need to find a new Planning Commission member. Table until January meeting to find interested individual.
6 Town Board Meeting Discussions – November 19th meeting was not attended due to conflicts; no new information from minutes. No motions are entertained.
Communication File is reviewed and list is signed.
2014-2015 Election Board Appointment – Clerk Kauzlaric provided list of election poll workers that have agreed to continue for another 2 year appointment with addition of new poll worker. Motion to appoint Board Members as listed by Lauterborn. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Operator’s License-Borhegyi – application available for review with certificate of online class completion provided. Motion that we accept the Operator’s License by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Amendment to Ordinance #2-2000 Fire Protection Charges – new equipment and materials charges requested by Chief Harkema for 2014. Motion to accept by Hull. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Anderson Lake Lane Assessors Plat – Request made by property owners for Town of pay for portion (if not all) of cost of Assessors Plat; Chairman Hull stated that Town of Mountain may own a parcel which would require Town of pay a portion of the cost; Oconto County also owns boat landing and will be paying portion of cost; property owners stated they had their property surveyed/assessed with last several years and now being charged again; request from land owners to be informed if meeting will discuss this topic; Town will review how other Assessors Plat Surveys were processed in past. No motions are entertained.
Hearing of the People brought about concerns relating description of Operator’s Licenses; Google Calendar on website is not working; letter of support for Chute Lake District grant application; question expenses for Oconto Area Humane Society; if Cemetery damage was investigated by all 3 towns; minutes from November’s Hearing of the People regarding snow removal on private road.
Santa to visit Mountain fire Department Friday, December 13th 6:30 p.m. @ Fire Station

Town Board Meeting Tuesday, January 14th 7:00 p.m. @ Town Office
Closed Session – Employee Discussion – Motion to adjourn into closed session per WI SS 19.85(1)(b) by Uecke. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried. Time is 7:45 p.m.
