TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING JANUARY 13, 2015
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Office. Roll call was taken with Hull, Uecke, Lauterborn and Kauzlaric present, as well as 7 in attendance. The agenda was posted on January 12, 2015. Motion to approve Agenda by Lauterborn. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried. The Pledge of Allegiance is said.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Kauzlaric with bank statements available for review. Motion to approve Treasurer’s report by Hull. Seconded by Uecke. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Town Board meeting held December 9, 2014 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Uecke. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Minutes of the Special Town Board Meeting held December 16, 2014 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Budget Amendments – will be completed in February when all December bills have been received.
Disbursements were available for all to review; checks #22054 to and including #22145 for disbursement of $834,716.55, which includes auto withdrawal of payroll taxes and First Merit Loan payment; plus late checks #22146 & 22147 in the amount of $576.91 for a total disbursement of $835,293.46. Motion to approve by Lauterborn. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Ambulance Report – Commissioner’s meeting on January 15th. No motions are entertained.
Fire Department Report – report given by Chief Harkema reporting they are receiving an air boat from Search & Rescue Team for repair work and use in the area. No motions are entertained.
Humane Officer Report is given by Clerk Kauzlaric with 2 calls for the month of December. No motions are entertained.
Cemetery Report – Sup. Uecke had nothing to report at this time. No motions are entertained.
Planning Commission Report –
– Review of Hazard Mitigation Materials – Chairman Hull reviewed Planning Commission changes and additions of list received from Oconto County Emergency Management coordinator discussed at meeting; Sup. Uecke mentioned that YMCA camp is not on list. Motion that we approve this list with amendments by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
6 Town Board Meeting Discussions – next meeting is February 3rd at Town of Breed. No motions are entertained.
Communication File is reviewed and list is signed.
Special Gathering License-Mountain vol. Fire Dept Auxiliary (Jan. 31 & Feb 1) – application was available for review. Motion to accept by Hull. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Special Gathering License-Chute Pond SM Club (Jan 24) – application was available for review. Motion that we accept this application by Uecke. Seconded by Lauterborn. Motion carried.
Road Crew Hire-Forrest – Sup. Lauterborn discussed that he met with Mike and he has been training; has been working out well. Motion that we approve hire by Uecke. Seconded by Hull. Motion carried.
Town Credit Card – Town Board discussed possibility of credit card for use to purchase items when no account with suppliers; use when employees go to training to assist with limited out of pocket costs for lodging/supplies. Tabled for further information.
Hearing of the People brought about concerns relating to need for lower speed limit on County Hwy W east of Mountain due to visual obstructions of curves and hills; question of where Y Camp Road ends and South Shore starts.
