Town Board Meeting October 12, 2010

TOWN OF MOUNTAIN
BOARD MEETING    OCTOBER 12, 2010

MINUTES

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Hull at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Office.  Roll call was taken with all members present as well as 15 in attendance.  The agenda was posted on October 10, 2010. Motion to approve the agenda by Wirth.  Seconded by Uecke.  Motion carried.  The Pledge of Allegiance is said.

 

Treasurer’s Report was given by Kauzlaric with bank statements available for review.  Motion to accept it by Wirth.  Seconded by Hull.  Motion carried.

 

Minutes of the Town Board meeting held September 11, 2010 were available for review. Motion to accept minutes by Uecke.  Seconded by Wirth.  Motion carried.

 

Budget Amendments – none required at this time.

 

Disbursements were available for all to review; check #18990 to and including #19052 for $31,252.58. Motion to approve the bills by Wirth.  Seconded by Uecke.  Motion carried.

 

Ambulance Report – Chairman Hull stated that meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 14th; discussed progress on Bridge work on Bear Paw.  No motions are entertained.

 

Fire Department Report was given by Sec. Don Buhrandt – 0 fire calls.  No motions are entertained.

 

Humane Officer Report is given by Rzepka, with 6 calls researched; also attended continuing education class in September regarding disaster type situations.  No motions are entertained.

 

Cemetery Report – still investigating vandalism reported.  No motions are entertained.

 

Planning Commission Report

Rezone Application-Randall Ohlrich – Chairman Hull updated board members that planning commission approved for Neighborhood Commercial.  Motion to approve by Wirth.  Seconded by Hull.  Motion Carried.

 

Conditional Use Application-Meyer – Chairman Hull discussed plan and map of lot.  Motion to approve by Wirth.  Seconded by Uecke.  Hull abstained.  Motion carried.

 

Communication File is reviewed and list is signed.

 

Special Gathering License-Chute Pond Snowmobile Club – Motion to approve by Wirth.  Seconded by Uecke.  Motion carried.

 

Oconto County Recycling Agreement – Motion to approve by Wirth.  Seconded by Hull.  Motion carried.

 

WI DOT-Road Certification discussed correction for Jack Pine.  Motion to approve with noted correction by Uecke.  Seconded by Wirth.  Motion carried.

 

Hearing of the People – issues included question regarding Town Supervisor being paid employee wages; Town Supervisor paid meeting wage and mileage to attend meeting; change in road crew 8 hours of work; change of application fee for Recreational Town Road Usage; South Shore Property sale; wages paid to Robby McClain

Motion to adjourn by Uecke.  Seconded by Wirth.  Motion carried.  Time is 7:27 p.m.
